Thank you Family Spectrum for allowing us the opportunity to talk about Cale’s story on the radio show of 12/23/09, and his daily struggle with Fanconi Anemia. This is a very rare blood disorder that ultimately leads to bone marrow failure. We appreciate the chance to bring awareness to those who have not heard of the disease, but also to encourage other families struggling with medically-dependant family members to be advocates for those in their care. For more information on the disease, visit http://www.fanconi.org. Thank you again, and Happy New Year!

    Britteny Ferrin
    Cale’s Mom, age 3
