This Summer, our Forever Young Family & Children’s Series continues with more than a half-century of extraordinary cinema for audiences of all ages!


AMC Summer MovieCamp

Looking for a cool getaway for gobs of kids this summer? Bring them to AMC Summer MovieCamp and enjoy the magic of movies! Summer MovieCamp will be offered at 10 a.m. each Tuesday morning this summer at participating theatres, from June 15 through August 10.  At only $1 admission, it’s an affordable option for summer fun for families and groups. All admission and concession proceeds will benefit two AMC charities,Variety – The Children’s Charity and the Will Rogers Institute.

No outside food will be allowed during Summer MovieCamp but you can take advantage of our KidsPack™ concession combos for $4 – more than 30% off the regular price.*

Advance tickets will be on sale starting June 8 at 214 participating AMC theatre locations and online. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. and shows will begin at 10 a.m. local time nationwide. See a list of participating theatres or search by zip code to get tickets. Tickets for each week will be on sale approximately one week prior to the scheduled show date.

All films will be on Tuesday mornings at 10:00a.m. The program will run for nine weeks beginning June 15th and ending August 10th. The Schedule will include the following films:

Babies at Film Streams

Starts Friday, May 7

A visually stunning and joyful new film that simultaneously chronicles the lives of four of the world’s newest human inhabitants — in Mongolia, Namibia, San Francisco, and Tokyo, respectively — from first breath to first steps, on a journey at once universal and amazingly original.

Babies for Babies: Join us Saturday, May 8 (11am) or Sunday, May 9 (11am) for baby-friendly screenings of BABIES. Infants welcome, and all under the age of 2 attend free!

Free Popcorn for Moms! On Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 9), all Moms who come to see a show at the Ruth Sokolof Theater, including all showings of BABIES, receive a free small popcorn.

Hilarious and frequently surreal, the stop-motion extravaganza A TOWN CALLED PANIC has endless charms and raucous laughs for children from 8 to 80. Based on the Belgian animated cult TV series (released by Wallace & Gromit’s Aardman Studios), PANIC stars three plastic toys named Cowboy, Indian, and Horse who share a rambling house in a rural town that never fails to attract the weirdest events. In French with English subtitles.

Sneak a Peek Inside “Toy Story 3”!

Buzz, Woody, and Jesse from Toy Story 3The toys are back in town as the “Toy Story 3” countdown begins! Opening in Disney Digital 3D on June 18, the comical adventure continues as a grown-up Andy prepares for college, leaving his childhood behind.

Despite an uncertain future, the toys keep a stiff upper pull string until Woody, Buzz, and the gang are mistakenly donated to Sunnyside, a daycare packed with pint-sized pandemonium. It’s a race against time as returning to Andy takes top priority … but can the playtime pals survive this out-of-toy-box experience when some new plastic faces get in their way?
