Omaha Police Department’s Kindergarten Traffic Safety Training (58th Annual)
August 2nd – 6th, 2010
9:00 am – 1:00 pm

MONDAY – Salem Children’s Center, 3131 Lake St.

(Free breakfast 8:00-9:00 or lunch 11:00-1:00 at Salem location only)

TUESDAY -Salvation Army Kroc Center, 2825 Y St.

WED-THU- FRI – Westroads Mall, 102nd & West Dodge

(Inside the mall, next to Dick’s Sporting Goods)

Registration between 9:00 am – 12:15 pm

The training is FREE for all participants. All parents with children entering kindergarten in the fall of 2010 are urged to participate. You only need to participate once.

Children will be formed into small groups.  Each group will move through training stages escorted by uniformed police officers and firefighters.  Training will last approximately 45 minutes, with new groups starting every 10-15 minutes.  Once a group has completed all of the training stages, the children may leave with their parent/guardian.

Parents/Guardians must remain on location while their child completes the training.

*    This event will proceed, rain or shine.

*    Spots are limited, please arrive early.
